KORN CONSULT GROUP in the US was commissioned by a premium OEM for a cost breakdown analysis on power train components. The experienced Senior Project Manager was asked to support Tier 1 workshops to analyze price increases being passed on to the OEM by several Tier 1 suppliers. He reviewed the manufacturing processes and labor allocation on the production lines. In doing so, we work together with the OEM team from the areas of production, logistics, engineering and quality. As a result, considerable savings potential could be identified.
