Day 1: A Great Start

The first day of KCG Academy 2024 was all about reconnecting! It was incredible to have everyone together in one place, with colleagues coming from all around the world—Germany, Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Mexico, Singapore, China, Poland, Spain, India, and the USA. After so much time apart, it felt amazing to finally see each other face-to-face.

We spent the day in meetings focused on where we stand as a company, the progress we’ve made, and some exciting updates on the new systems being implemented. There were lots of discussions about our global strategy and next steps for the future, and it really felt like we’re all moving in the right direction.

We wrapped up the day feeling motivated and more connected as a team. It was great to not only catch up on all the progress we’ve made, but also to share in the excitement of what’s coming next.

Aligning as a global team is essential to delivering consistent, high-quality solutions that meet our customers’ needs and drive their success.

Day 2: Diving into Product Development

Day two was all about collaboration and brainstorming. We kicked things off with workshops focused on product development and understanding what the market needs to drive our strategy forward. We dove into different angles, sharing insights and ideas on how to align our products with our customer’s demands. It was amazing to see so many creative solutions and fresh perspectives from each group.

After presenting our findings, it felt like we’d laid down some solid groundwork to shape the future of our products and strategy. The main point of this workshop was to highlight the critical importance of achieving customer satisfaction by prioritizing quality service, actively listening to feedback, and consistently exceeding expectations, laying a strong foundation for building lasting customer relationships.

An Exciting Evening

After a productive day of workshops, we headed out for some fun—a hockey game! For many of our colleagues from different parts of the world, including South America and China, it was their first time experiencing live hockey, and the excitement was inspiring. We cheered on the Frankfurter Löwen as they faced off against the Nürnberg Ice Tigers, and hopefully based also on our cheering the Löwen Frankfurter took the win!

The night didn’t end there, though. We wrapped it up with an unforgettable party, where we danced, relaxed, and enjoyed the time spent together. It was the perfect way to celebrate a great day of teamwork and fun!

As we closed out KCG Academy 2024, one key takeaway stood out:
