The ongoing shortage of skilled workers and the variety of existing tasks make the automotive supplier customers increasingly decide to bring external support of the method competence logistics FMEA in-house. The FMEA method has been in use in the KCG consulting team since 2006 and was already extended to more and more logistics processes in 2016. The assigned senior consultants carry out the moderation methodically. For this purpose, they apply as Excel, APIS, Plato and other specific systems, depending on the requirements of the customer. In this year’s project, the system requirements were known and could therefore be accompanied very quickly in the implementation methodically to the successful elaboration. The long-standing customer from the automotive supplier environment plans to also use experienced senior consultants of the KCG Competence Center Supply Chain Management for sustainable implementation with the goal of reducing risks.
