The KORN CONSULT GROUP USA was hired by a premium OEM to provide logistics support and create a supplier management plan to reduce the backlog of six major suppliers, resulting in increased freight costs due to miss-/express shipments.
The project objective is to reduce the backlog of supplies between the OEM and the suppliers as quickly as possible, and to create a sustainable solution through a preventive manufacturing planning system.
