Your area of responsibility:

• Project management: You independently lead operations projects for our clients, from analysis through implementation, with clear quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Process optimization: You analyze processes, layouts, and material flows, and optimize production planning and control.
• Coaching & training: You empower clients’ employees and managers to sustain improvements after your assignment ends.
• Lean management: You lead workshops and implement methods such as value stream mapping, 5S, and TPM directly on the shop floor.
• Management reporting: You confidently present results and recommendations to executive management.

What you bring:

• Education: A completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in production planning, lean management, and layout planning, ideally with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier.
• Methodological expertise: Proficiency in methods such as Kaizen, Kanban, Six Sigma, TPM, value stream mapping, or Hoshin Kanri. Experience with AI or Industry 4.0 is a plus.
• Leadership experience: You have already held responsibility for leading projects and teams.
• Communication: You communicate persuasively, whether facilitating a shop floor workshop or presenting to executive management.
• Languages & travel: Business-fluent German and English, along with a willingness to undertake regular domestic and international client assignments.
• Working style: You take ownership, work independently, and adopt a hands-on approach.

Your area of responsibility

• Plan, execute, and lead client projects as overall project lead — including interim-management assignments — against clear quality, cost and schedule targets
• Steer all supplier-related activities and processes for our clients, including auditing
• Run gap and root-cause analyses, develop optimization concepts and implement them on the ground
• Present project results to our clients’ decision-making bodies and facilitate workshops
• Represent KORN CONSULT GROUP to external partners (clients, suppliers, third parties)

What you bring

• Degree in business or engineering (or a comparable technical/commercial qualification) and 5+ years of experience, preferably in automotive/industrial and in management consulting
• Client-facing experience, with management and business-development exposure
• Experience with automotive and quality-management methods and standards, e.g. IATF 16949 / VDA audits, 8D, Six Sigma or FMEA
• Strong sense of ownership, a self-directed working style and a hands-on mentality
• Willing to travel to client sites domestically and internationally; authorized to work in the US with fluent English skills

What we offer

• Base salary range: $115,000–$150,000 per year, based on experience and location
• Performance-based annual bonus

Ihr Profil:

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Vertriebsinnendienst oder als Key Account; von Vorteil bei einem Automobilhersteller oder in der Zuliefererindustrie
• Kommunikationsstärke, Organisationstalent und Kundenorientierung
• Strukturierte, sorgfältige und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise sowie Teamfähigkeit
• Analytische Fähigkeiten sowie hohe Zahlenaffinität
• Souveräner Umgang mit MS-Office Produkten, insbesondere Excel und Power Point
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in Economics, Engineering, or a comparable technical/commercial education

• Over 10 years of professional experience, ideally in the industrial/automotive sector and management consulting

• Strong technical understanding

• Experience in management and sales

• Excellent MS Office skills

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

• Experience in client interaction and creating compelling presentations
