The world exhibition “Expo 2020” under the motto Connecting Minds, Creating the Future was originally supposed to take place in the United Arab Emirates from October 20, 2020 to April 3, 2021.
“Expo” is one of the major international exhibitions recognized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) and in 2020 the first world exhibition to be held in an Arab country.
In early April 2020, the government of the United Arab Emirates submitted a formal request to postpone the World’s Fair. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Expo will now take place in Dubai from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
The event is running under the title “Expo 2020”
