The consulting enterprise Korn Consult handed over a donation cheque in the amount of 2.222 Euro to the union „Tatort – Straßen der Welt“ e.V. Boad members Holger Korn and Christian Korn handed over the cheque to the Cologne representatives of the union Tatort Dietmar Bär, Klaus J. Behrendt and Ulrike Thönniges.
The money is for the benefit of a children’s aid project for street children on the Philippines, where the union Tatort is active with the initiative PREDA (People´s Recovery Empowerment Development Assistance Foundation). The financial support and earnings by the fair trade initiated by PREDA, allow the aid organization to care in the PREDA children protection center for almost 150 children, rescued from difficult life circumstances. Different programs are offering to the children and adolescents protection, good education and thus a new start into life.
Korn Consult has selected this aid project on the Philippines as beneficiary of their donation, because the enterprise is active in the Philippine market, most recently with a process analysis project for a notable automobile supplier. “Doing business in a country such as the Philippines and realizing the problems there, we cannot just look away“, explains Holger Korn the social engagement of his company and says further: „We are aware of our responsibility and hope to have created at least for some of the Philippine children positive future perspectives.
