Quality is not accidental, it is the result of effective business processes
At KORN CONSULT GROUP, we support customers with classic project management using the waterfall model and other methods like Agile Project Management. Besides, we help with the implementation and optimization of product development processes according to VDA 6.3 or Agile standards. A KORN CONSULT GROUP project manager can train employees or step in as interim manager to support customers through the whole product life cycle. A typical assignment follows the KORN CONSULT GROUP 4 phase model with an in-depth analysis of the current situation, development of a unique solution, implementation of work packages, and finally, validation of results including assurance of sustainability.
Our approach starts with workshops and personal meetings. The result is a jointly agreed upon KPI reporting structure and an action plan for maximum transparency respecting project, process, and customer needs. By establishing and close tracking of a typical “List of Open Points,” we ensure a lean facts & figures driven communication with all involved parties to meet the required maturity level within the Quality Gates of the product life cycle hence striving for a flawless product launch.
For each project, we select a highly skilled project manager that will be our customers’ point of contact during the entire project. The project manager will be geographically close to the customers, speak the customers’ language, and have an understanding of the local culture. All our Consultants in Europe, Africa, Asia, North America and South America have strong technical backgrounds with industrial experience and knowledge. To ensure high quality consultancy, each project is supervised at executive level.
As consultants at KORN CONSULT GROUP (KCG), we work with leaders who are managing constant change - operational, technological and cultural. And as 2025 enters its final stretch, one thing is clear: the conversation is no longer about what’s coming next. It’s about how we adapt, lead and create value right now. Here are five priorities we’re seeing shape the most resilient and forward-thinking organizations:
We continue our KCG Around the Globe series with a spotlight on KCG Hungary, where international expertise meets local impact. At KCG Hungary, we understand that effective Interim Management requires more than expertise - it demands a deep understanding of local language, culture and business practices.
An interim Quality Assurance Manager was appointed to strengthen the organization’s quality culture, resolve supplier issues, and drive continuous improvement across operations. The primary goal was to enhance overall quality performance, both internally and externally, by reducing defects (PPM), resolving problems systematically, and improving customer satisfaction.
